Hi! I’m Christina Scoby, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My faith is important and helps me manage my everyday life! I am a mother of 4 beautiful daughters.
For as long as I can remember, my passion has been to help others. I am a caring, service-focused social worker with a passion for serving the needs of disadvantaged youth, adults, homeless, and special-needs populations.
I was born in California and grew up in Upstate New York. I completed my undergraduate degree in Social Work at Buffalo State College and received my graduate degree from the University at Buffalo. During my studies, I have worked with college students, young mothers, and elementary school-aged students.
As a professional, I have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; where I helped ensure their success with various employment opportunities. I was an outpatient therapist for the last 3.5 years where I carried a diverse caseload. I have experience helping clients address their mental health needs to include depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, anxiety, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and personality disorders in addition to others. Currently, I work as a Behavioral Health Therapist on an inpatient psychiatric unit in one of our local hospitals.
When I am not working hard at helping others in my professional life, you can find me spending time with family and friends, creating new memories.
