Ms. Nina Caballer, LCPC, CCMHC
Esteemed neurologist and psychiatrist Viktor Frankl once said, “When we are no longer able to change a situation we are challenged to change ourselves.” His words resonate w/ my approach to counseling.
Ms. Caballero’s approach to counseling is insight oriented and geared towards promoting personal awareness, resilience and growth. In collaboration with her clients, she work towards facilitating and supporting behavioral change utilizing an integrative approach based on client needs, goals and strengths. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and a nationally Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor w/ the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Ms. Caballero is a culturally responsive clinician w/ a wide breadth of training and experience in both Mental Health and Substance Abuse. She has provided services to a diverse clientele including students, professionals, seniors, retired/active military personnel, first responders, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, and Fire Fighters.
Her specialized training includes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Anger Management, Mindfulness and Parenting Skills.
