Ms. LeCounte believes that her role as a social work professional is to uphold and practice within the NASW code of ethics providing advocacy and services to vulnerable children, families, and communities. Ms. LeCounte obtained her Bachelors of Psychology from Bowie State University and went on to obtain her Masters Of Social Work from Morgan State University. Ms. LeCounte’s background is grounded in child welfare. She has provided intensive case management services to children and adults who suffer from ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and co-occurring behavioral health concerns. She also has years of experience supervising Child Protective Services in Baltimore City.
Ms. LeCounte enjoys using creative therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and families to help resolve/reduce problematic behaviors, feelings, beliefs and relationship issues. Ms. LeCounte uses a holistic approach to therapy. Addressing the whole person, including their physical, mental, and emotional health, while taking social factors into consideration.
